The AWPA Board has been busy restructuring and re-strategizing this past year and have some great plans for the future. Most recently we have delivered a program called the Essential Skills & Employment (ESET) Program.
AWPA is inclusive of all Aboriginal women, who are leaders, business owners, homemakers and students in the community. AWPA’s Board of Directors has defined the word “professional” as a mindset or an attitude. Therefore, AWPA strives to provide Aboriginal women the opportunity to network, to learn and empower each other through mentorship opportunities. We look forward to seeing you at the community events and learning and celebrating your journey.
AWPA is a not-for-profit society that was incorporated on October 6, 2003. AWPA has been educating, encouraging and empowering Aboriginal women in Edmonton since this time.
